Sympathetic damp repairs

Modern masonry paint, high ground levels and cement pointing externally can cause rising damp symptoms to walls. A sympathetic approach is to lower high ground levels, as a minimum remove paint at low level, and replace pointing with lime pointing. This will create evaporation at the base of the wall, and try and control rising damp issues.
