Have you been told you need to remove modern masonry paint as it is causing damp issues. Many layers of modern masonry paint will stop moisture evaporating despite what it states on the tin. Many houses I survey have had multiple layers of different types of paint, which eventually cause damp issues to internal plaster. Unfortunately many decorators now just apply some form of damp seal internally and then another coat of masonry paint externally, and the damp cycle will continue.
See the video below where we remove the masonry paint with the ThermaTech super heated hot water system. This basically heats the water to 150 degrees C. This softens the paint making it easier to get off.
